First of all, we're glad you want to join us. Here are some simple steps to join our Glamino community. Don't worry, it's easy, free and fun. You can join on your phone or computer (or any other device you're comfortable with that will have internet).
What are the first registration steps?
We have a few quick formalities to get us started. In the top right hand corner of our page you'll see a big "Register" box that you can't miss, and that's where you can sign up for the first time. Here's what we're gonna ask you to do:
- Fill in your email address (we won’t bother you much, just with some important announcements or interesting content, you can of course opt out of this later) - don’t forget to confirm your address in the first e-mail that we’ll send you right away.
- Think of a good password, after all this is your private profile.
- Create a nickname, can be what your Mom used to call you when you were little, your favourite superhero or anything you can think of that suits you. Be creative. You can’t change it later but we’ll ask for your Name as well, which will appear at the top of your profile and can be changed anytime.
- Your date of birth (not for your star sign, but to know you’re of age).
- Who are you and what are you looking for? Tell us your gender and your sexuality.
What should your profile contain?
Now that you’ve finished this, we’ll start with the fun part. Are you on Glamino to follow others or create content yourself? Either way, tell us something about yourself and fill in your profile further by adding your profile picture and Bio. If you want to upload content then this is your work profile, think of it as your personal brand. You want it to be attractive to other users as well as to you and give off a vibe of authenticity. Filling out your Bio is essential as it’s at the top of your profile and the first thing people see. You don’t have to think long about it, just write what comes naturally.
